Our hardware configuration!

Ever wondered how I manage to get such a high frame rate (FPS) while playing World of Tanks, even at maximum graphics settings - all while recording HD video in the background?  

Well, wonder no more.  

Below are the specifications of my PC (which I assembled myself from scratch in 2014).  And, let me tell you upgrading from a 7 year old computer - to something brand new and blisteringly fast - affected my game more than anything.  

Just going from low graphics settings - to high or max on everything - must have increased my average WN8 score by 500 to 1,000.  So, if you really want to improve your tanking, and are playing on an old computer, the easiest way to improve dramatically is to get better hardware!  

I highly recommend the following set-up (well, Windows 8.1 sucks balls, but what can you do?):

HDD:  Seagate 4TB Desktop HDD SATA III w/ 64MB Cache

Reader:  Silverstone Premium 3.5in Front Bay Card Reader w/ SDXC, USB 3.0
