List of CREW SKILLS & PERKS available for your World of Tanks crew:

GENERAL RULES


  1. SIXTH SENSE is essential.  Take it as soon as humanly possible
  2. DEADEYE is virtually always a good perk to take
  3. Only take BROTHERS IN ARMS once you’ve got at least 3 full skills on your crew
  4. EAGLE EYE is cool to have - but almost completely useless
  5. Same with INTUITION
  6. DESIGNATED TARGET is only useful for scouts, and only if the crew-members have 3 or more skills
  7. SIGNAL BOOSTING & RELAYING are only useful for tanks with terrible view-ranges (Russian), and only if there’s nothing better to take
  8. OFF-ROAD DRIVING and SMOOTH RIDE are useful for virtually any tank which moves around the battlefield
  9. SAFE STORAGE is only useful for tanks with large, weak turrets (or otherwise exposed Ammo Racks)
  10. ADRENALINE RUSH is only useful in battles where you’re almost dead already - but, not in immediate danger - so, virtually never.  WORST SKILL or PERK EVER!
  11. SITUATIONAL AWARENESS is useful for Light Tanks, Medium Tanks & Tank Destroyers.  Although, increasing view-range is handy for everyone
  12. ARMORER is in the running with Adrenaline Rush for Most Pointless skill or perk
  13. SNAP SHOT is essential for any tank who often shoots while turning or on-the-move, so basically everyone but arty and turretted TD’s
  14. Same with SMOOTH RIDE
  15. MENTOR is only useful if you have a highly-skilled Commander - and a lesser-skilled crew you want to advance a bit faster
  16. REPAIR is always useful, but especially for Heavy Tanks
  17. CAMOUFLAGE is essential for Light Tanks, Mediums, TD’s and Artillery
  18. FIRE-FIGHTING is useful for most tanks, but especially Heavy Tanks and German Tanks (German tanks have a tendency to burn)
  19. JACK OF ALL TRADES is useful for Heavy Tanks and other tanks who take a fair bit of punishment during the course of each battle
  20. CLUTCH BRAKING is only useful for tanks who turn slowly (and especially if they’re a turretless TD), but can come in handy on LT’s or MT’s who are on the slower-turning side of things
