World of Tanks Weak-Spot Guide

COMING SOON!

Many tanks are so heavily armored that if you shoot them from the front (or at an angle), there’s no way your shell is going to penetrate.  Unless you aim for weak spots, that is!  Knowing your enemy’s weak spots can save your life.

Weak Spots.  Live them.  Learn them.  Know them.  Exploit them.  Kill.

In the meantime…

As a rule-of-thumb, when facing a heavily armored target from the front, you’ll want to aim for the lower plate (or any hatches or ports you can see).  And, if your enemy is angled, meaning even the lower plate is too strong for your gun - aim for the flattest piece of armor that’s facing you.

There are so many dozens of different tanks in the game, all of which have numerous weak-spots on the front, sides and back - which adds up to thousands of areas you need to memorize if you want to play the game well (and, you need to research them too, as WarGaming doesn’t bother to tell you where they are).  But, that’s way too much for the average person to handle, so I’ve whittled it down to a few of the most important areas per tank.  Something much easier for the beginner or intermediate player to deal with and remember.

If you want to learn the different tanks’ weak spots in MUCH more depth, I suggest you head over to WoT Guru’s Weak Spot Guide.  I highly recommend it!
